The brand-new Redback E216C Cordless Chainsaw has been developed exclusively for MowDirect in the UK and offers premium features, superior build-quality and superb handling at a remarkably low price-point. It can be paired-up with any of three high-specification 40v lithium-ion batteries - 2Ah, 4Ah or 6Ah - all of which have been developed in-house by Redback, using premium Japanese power cells.* The resulting batteries are free from spontaneous-discharge and memory-effect problems, so they’re always ready to use; and they offer far faster charge-times and much longer run-times compared to less advanced ni-cad and lead-acid units. The 40cm cutting-gear on the Redback E216C is from U.S. market-leaders Oregon and has a ⅜” chain-pitch that works to minimise ‘kick-back’ tendency. This, along with a dual-action interia- and manually-activated chain-brake, makes it one of the safest chainsaws in production. The Redback E216C Cordless Chainsaw boasts an ergonomically optimised wrap-around handle that makes it easy to grip and control, whatever your angle of attack.
